Maid VIP - Terms of Service

Welcome to Maid VIP ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, https://maidvip.com (the "Site"), and the professional cleaning services we provide (the "Services").
By accessing our Site or booking our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Site or Services.

Our Services

Maid VIP provides a platform to connect users with professional, independent cleaning service providers ("Cleaning Professionals"). We are a referral agency. The Cleaning Professionals are independent contractors and are not employees of Maid VIP.

200% Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand by the quality of our service. Our 200% Satisfaction Guarantee is as follows:

• If you are not satisfied with any aspect of your cleaning, please contact us within 24 hours of the service completion.
• We will promptly send a Cleaning Professional back to re-clean the specific areas you were not happy with, at no additional cost to you.
• If you are still not satisfied after the re-clean, we will refund your money for the service.

This guarantee applies only to our recurring cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, and specialty cleaning services. It requires that you notify us of any issues within the 24-hour window.

Booking and Payments

• Flat-Rate Pricing: We provide an instant, flat-rate price based on the information you provide (number of bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage, and selected services). This price is a flat fee for the job, not an hourly rate.
• Booking Confirmation: Your booking is not confirmed until you receive an official confirmation email.
• Payment: We require a valid credit card to be on file to book your appointment. We will place a temporary hold on the card to validate it, but your card will not be charged until after your cleaning service has been completed.
• Cancellation Policy: We understand that schedules change. We require a minimum of 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment without a fee.
  
• Cancellations or reschedules made within the 48-hour window of your appointment time are subject to a late-cancellation fee. This fee compensates the Cleaning Professionals for the time they reserved for you.

Your Responsibilities as a Client

Service Limitations: Our teams are trained in specific tasks. Our standard service does not include:

• Cleaning of biohazardous materials (e.g., human/animal waste, mold).
• Cleaning of hoarding situations.
• Cleaning areas outside of normal reach (e.g., high ceilings, light fixtures that cannot be reached with a small step-stool).
• Lifting or moving items heavier than 25 pounds.
• Cleaning exterior windows (unless booked as a specific add-on service).

Client Valuables: For your peace of mind and the safety of our teams, we ask that you secure all irreplaceable or high-value items (e.g., cash, jewelry, heirlooms) before the cleaning team arrives.

Entry to Home: You are responsible for providing our teams with safe and legal access to your home. If our team is unable to enter your home (e.g., due to a locked door, incorrect code, aggressive pet), you will be subject to a lock-out fee.

Vetting & Insurance

Maid VIP is not the employer of the Cleaning Professionals. However, we take your trust and safety seriously. We have a rigorous vetting process. We partner with established, independent cleaning professionals who must provide proof of their own insurance and pass a comprehensive nationwide background check to be on our platform. We also carry our own General Liability insurance to protect you and your property.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Our Site and Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. While we strive for excellence, we do not warrant that the service will be 100% error-free in every instance. Our 200% Satisfaction Guarantee is your sole remedy for any service-related issues.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maid VIP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Services; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Services; (c) any content obtained from the Services; or (d) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will post the most current version on our Site and update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. By continuing to use our Site or Services after any changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
