We're happy to, because it's the cornerstone of our commitment to you. Our 200% Guarantee is a simple, two-part promise. First, if you're not satisfied with any aspect of your cleaning, contact us within 24 hours, and we will send a team back to re-clean the area for free. Second, if you're still not happy with the result after the re-clean, we will refund your money for the service. It’s our way of ensuring you are always delighted with our maid service.

What is your policy regarding pets in the home?

We are a pet-friendly service! Our teams are accustomed to working in homes with all kinds of furry (and feathered) family members. We simply ask that you let us know about your pets in your booking notes. If your pet is anxious around new people or loud noises like vacuums, we recommend securing them in a comfortable, quiet space (like a guest room or a crate) for their own comfort and our team's efficiency.

What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

We offer a flexible policy designed to respect both your time and the time of our cleaning professionals. We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment without any fee. It's Monday afternoon now; for example, if you had a cleaning scheduled for Wednesday afternoon, you would need to let us know by today to avoid a fee. This notice allows us to adjust our partners' schedules and offer the time slot to another client. Cancellations or reschedules made inside the 24-hour window are subject to a late-cancellation fee.

How do I know my credit card and personal information are secure?

Your security is a top priority. Our online booking platform is protected by SSL technology, and we use Authorize.net, a global leader in online payments, to process all transactions. Your full credit card information is encrypted and is never visible to Maid VIP employees. By using a PCI-compliant processor, we ensure your financial data is handled with the highest level of security available, giving you the same confidence you would have when making a purchase from any major online retailer.

What is the process if something is accidentally broken or damaged?

While our teams are extremely careful, we are prepared for the rare event of an accident. If you notice any damage after your house cleaning, please notify our office immediately. We will gather the details and promptly initiate a claim through our comprehensive general liability insurance to have the item professionally repaired or replaced. Our process is designed to be transparent, fair, and to resolve the issue for you as quickly as possible.

Do your teams clean inside closets, drawers, or personal cabinets?

No. For your privacy and the security of your belongings, our standard housekeeping policy is to never open closed drawers, closets, or cabinets without prior consent. The only exception to this is for a move-out cleaning, where we clean the inside of cabinets and drawers with the expectation that the home is completely empty of all personal items.

What are some things your teams are NOT able to clean?

For the safety of our teams and your home, there are a few tasks that fall outside the scope of our standard cleaning services. These include:

  • Cleaning of biohazardous materials (including animal or human waste/fluids).

  • Exterior window cleaning (this is a separate, specialized service).

  • Heavy-duty scrubbing of patios or garages.

  • Cleaning in hoarding situations or areas with excessive clutter that pose a safety risk.

  • Lifting or moving items heavier than 25 pounds.

Will your team arrive at the exact time I book?

To account for unpredictable Southern California traffic and to ensure each home gets the attention it deserves, we schedule our appointments with a two-hour arrival window. For example, if you book for a 1:00 PM appointment, you can expect your team to arrive between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM.  Don't worry; we will always make sure we give you & your home the same courtesy and respect as all of our other wonderful clients.
